Our youngsters Selin Ali and Ivan Georgiev won a bronze medal in the discipline "trap junior mixed team" at the World Championship in Lonato - Italy in July 2019!
Since 2018, Selin Ali and Ivan Georgiev have participated together in the "trap junior mixed team" discipline, and last year took 3rd place at the World Youth Championship in Suhl, Germany in 2018.
Ivan Georgiev was born on August 25, 2000 in the town of Aytos, a student in the 12th grade at High school "Hristo Botev" - Aytos. He started shooting in discipline "Trap" when he was only 9 years old. National athlete of Bulgaria, multiple times national champion in juniors. Grand Prix prizes in Romania, Serbia and Italy. His best achievements at the international level, at European and world competitions are:
- 6th place at the European Championship in Baku, Azerbaijan in 2017.
- 6th place at the World Championships in Suhl, Germany in 2016;
- Silver medal in the discipline "Trap" men junior team at the European Championship in Lonato in 2016.
- 5th place at the European Championship in Lonato, Italy in 2016;
