The third edition of the international competition Grand Prix "Gen. Lavrov "2021 came to end. The competition was held at shooting range "Via", Gorni Dabnik, municipality Dolni Dabnik, reg. Pleven in the period 15 - 18.04 2021.
Despite the epidemic situation around the world, about 100 competitors from 9 countries took part in the competition - Czech Republic, Italy, Romania, Greece, Lebanon, Kazakhstan, United Arab Emirates, Finland and Bulgaria. Olympic, World, European and Asian champions stood out among the competitors.
Special guests of the event were Mr. Belcho Goranov - Secretary General of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee and Mrs. Tatiana Bozhinova - Deputy Regional Governor of Pleven, who awarded the winners.
In the discipline "trap men individually" the first place was for the winner of Olympic gold - David Kostelecky. In second place was the world youth champion Lorenzo Ferrari from Italy, and in third place was the winner of World and European medals Jiri Liptak. The three winners were followed by our young hope Ivan Georgiev, Emanuele Buccolieri and Teo Petroni from Italy.
Selin Ali, our world champion in the women junior category, came first in the trap women's individual event, followed by Asian champion Ray Bassil from Lebanon, and the bronze went to the Czech Zina Hrdlickova, a women junior bronze medalist at the world championship. They were followed by Romanian Diana Saizu, Oxana Sereda from Kazakhstan and Andrea Nikolova from Bulgaria.
In the discipline "trap men junior individually", the gold was won by Iliycho Marinov from Bulgaria, the silver by Ali Ali from Bulgaria, and the bronze was won by Mihai Avasiloaie from Romania.
In the trap mixed team discipline, the gold medals were won by our young hopes and silver medalists from the World Cup, Marin Kirilov and Selin Ali. Alexandru Cristea and Diana Saizu from Romania came second, and Bulgarians Dian Staykov and Andrea Nikolova came third.
In the discipline "skeet men individually" the Italian and world champion in the men junior category - Elia Sdruccioli ranked first. Erik Pittini from Italy came in second and Jaroslav Lang from the Czech Republic came in third. The three medalists were followed by Czech world champion Tomas Nydrle, World Cup and Asian medalist Saif Bin Futais of the UAE and Daniel Herberger from Czech Republic.
Martina Skalicka from the Czech Republic came first in the skeet women individual event, followed by Barbora Sumova and Hana Adamkova, also from the Czech Republic. Roxana Miklos from Romania, Anna Sindelarova and Dominika Brozkova from the Czech Republic came fourth, fifth and sixth.
In the discipline "skeet men junior individually" the gold was won by Etienne Islai from Romania, the silver was won by the Bulgarian Kaloyan Tonev, and the bronze was won by Stefan Carbunaru from Romania. They were followed by Ognyan Dimitrov from Bulgaria, Matei-Popa Radescu from Romania and Hristo Nikolov from Bulgaria.
Raveca Islai from Romania came first in the skeet women junior individual event, and Carla-Elena Sandu, also from Romania, came in second.
In the Skeet Veterans discipline, Athanasios Chasparis from Greece was first, Gavrail Ivanov second and Miroslav Mitkin third.
In the men's skeet team competition, gold medals were won by a trio consisting of the European champion Jakub Tomecek, Tomas Nydrle and Jaroslav Lang. The silver medals were won by the Italian team - Erik Pittini, Elia Sdruccioli and Emanuele Fuso. The bronze medals were won by the Bulgarian team - Vasil Angelov, Georgi Georgiev and Vladislav Simeonov.
The women's gold medals in the team standings were won by the Czech team, consisting of Barbora Sumova, Anna Sindelarova and Martina Skalicka.
In the skeet mixed team event, the gold medals went to Jaroslav Lang and Martina Skalicka, the silver to Jakub Tomecek and the European bronze medalist Barbora Sumova, and the bronze to Jan Zamecnik and Hana Adamkova, all from the Czech Republic.
The President of the Bulgarian Trap, Double Trap and Skeet Federation, Mr. Iliya Kirilov, was awarded by Mr. Belcho Goranov with the medal "Sport for a Peaceful World" of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee for contribution to the development of the Bulgarian Trap, Double Trap and Skeet Federation and the Olympic movement in Bulgaria.
